Scotia on a Wednesday

Anthony Fallacaro was playing a free concert in Freedom Park; surprisingly I still haven't seen him and it was a gorgeous night. Movie Friend was going to Scotia Cinema - I thought maybe I'd see a song or two and then meet her at the movie.  It didn't happen.  Sorry Anthony, maybe next time.  Here's a video for his great song though.

I did go to the movie.  I know the reviews were not that great, and surprise! it's because the movie was not that great.  Not believable - I know, it's FANTASY, but still, I stayed with it pretty much up to the end, right up until they said the AED shocked her with volts.

SHOCKS ARE DELIVERED IN JOULES.

Ellen Burstyn is great in every role she plays, Harrison Ford is kind of creepy in this film, even though he is the long lost love, and I did not like the guy who played Ellis, not even enough to get his name. But oh, Blake Lively is lovely. I don't think I've seen her before - she's had a lot of roles, but not in anything that I see. Watching her was worth the five dollars.

UPDATE: it was Funk Evolution in Freedom Park last night! Anthony is playing Saturday night at 7 - there's still a chance to see him!!!
