Nobody Knows 4/17/15 Page Hall

This was a great film of a really disturbing story, which was based on an even more detestable true story of children abandoned by their mother.

It came out in 2004; I don't know the criteria that the Writers Institute uses to choose the films for their film series, but this was a good one.  It was low-key and beautiful, kids doing kid things, despite the seriousness of the situation of four children left in an apartment to fend for themselves. The story is told in a way that doesn't even make you hate the mother - you see her as nearly a child herself.

The true story was much more gruesome.
