This book had a great title - I couldn't resist it, and for most of the book I could tolerate the 'fairy tale' that was intertwined in the chapters of the story - but after awhile the whole thing kind of lost its appeal, and it took me awhile to finish - I hoped it would come around after investing so much time.

No darlings, no beautiful language. If I had seen it described as 'fanciful' before I started it, I would have just kept walking...although another perspective on grief and loss.
