I have never been to the Schuyler Mansion, despite having lived down the street from it for those years in the '80s, so when I saw this, I was really interested.

There was a great spread of snacks: sandwiches, fruit, cheeses, vegetables, crackers and some little tarts. Druthers was there with The Dare (my favorite!) and another beer on tap; wine and apple cider was also available.

There was a game 'Spot the Anomalies': form a team of two or more people and go through the mansion finding things out of place - such as the ice cream scoop on the table...Our team consisted of my sister/not sister, and four other smart and fabulous women - we three-way tied for the win. Prizes were gift cards to cider belly donuts, or for a tasting at Nine Pin.

This was a fun time - an out of the ordinary event - and I'll probably get together with at least one of those smart women in the future.
