I never posted a thing about this fest - mainly because I was so conflicted about my experience there, which had nothing to do with the fest actually. So let me talk about Boston Calling and maybe we'll talk about the rest later.

Didn't see any of the Friday bands. I had planned on leaving for Boston at 3 on Friday but that didn't happen due to the last minute schedule change of the person that came with me. (see future post for explanation, maybe.)

Saw Bleachers - I am impressed by the fact that Jack Antonoff is in another top pop band - .fun was the headliner at the first Boston Calling, where we all froze to death.

The Hold Steady - Craig Finn is so cool to watch - every fascinating expression and pure fun.

There was a crazy storm - City Hall Plaza was evacuated and canceled Volcano Choir and Girl Talk.

The storm passed with damage to some of the screens and the banners. Once the all clear was given, Lorde performed. She's not my girl, but friend was quite impressed.

Childish Gambino was the headliner for Saturday. I was ok with ditching early. He did have awesome backdrops though.
